With the advent of the Gannon Scholars Leadership Program in 1991, whose goal is to promote women’s higher education, followed by the establishment of the Ann Ida Gannon Center for Women in Leadership in 1993, Loyola University further solidified its dedication to the advancement of both scholarship and leadership opportunities for women.
